by Tereza Froňková, Olgoj Chorchoj Studio and David Karásek
Tereza Froňková and the Olgoj Chorchoj studio, in collaboration with David Karásek, designed a chair just like the one you used to sit on in your school cafeteria, only much more comfortable, for the legendary Eska restaurant in the industrial neighbour of Karlín in Prague. The chair was inspired by the school chairs in socialist Czechoslovakian elementary schools. Its ergonomics have been slightly modified, bringing a renewed quality to ordinary things.
The table is designed to fit two chairs around it and, thanks to the materials it is made of, it can be used inside as well as outside.
